Frequently asked questions about Havergarth View holidays. All the things you need to know before your glamping adventure.
Can I park my car by the accomodation?
The car park is situated just behind the fence of the glamping site, just a few yards away from your pod.
Where is the nearest shop?
The nearest shop is in Pateley Bridge just a mile away. It takes either 15 minutes to walk, or a 5 minute drive. There is the Dales market convenience store/petrol station, or other shops including butchers, a Spar shop, a a few more on Pateley Bridge High Street.
What time can i check in?
We do not allow check in to accommodation until 3pm, unless you have spoken to John or Tim directly and arranged an earlier check in time with him.
What time do I need to check out by?
Check out time is 9am -11am on the day of check out. We will check the pod for breakages, and then give you your breakage deposit back if all is OK.
Are dogs/pets allowed?
Unfortunately we do not allow dogs/pets on the site.
Do you have personnel on site?
There is always someone around most of the time to ensure guests are OK, and the rules of the site are obeyed. But if you need us, its best to ring the site mobile, and we can come and see you.
What is your policy on noise?
We always ask that guests respect other fellow guests that are staying on site, and keep noise to a level whereby you are not causing a nuisance to others. After 11pm we have a strict low level noise policy.
Are the pods secure?
Yes, you will have your own key to lock your pod up with your belongings in.
Do you have Wifi internet access?
Yes, WiFi is free on site.
Do the pods have electricity/can i charge my mobile phone?
Yes, there are 5 double plug sockets per pod.
Can we buy logs/ do we need charcoal?
Basket of Logs and charcoal are available to buy for a small charge of £10. Our charcoal bags for the BBQ enough for two burns. If you don’t fancy cooking out side we have an inside kitchen area with microwave and electric hot plate.
Do I need to bring a torch?
If you would like to, but there is lighting outside the pods and it is well lit up along the path to the toilet/shower block.
